Why I started “Recycle Blogger”…
Ok, so I’ll be the first to admit that I am not the best example when it comes to recycling. In fact I’m the kind of guy who only recycles cans and bottles for the money. Although I know that I am not perfect, I also know that if I try hard enough, I can change my ways and make this situation a little better. So that leads into the idea of why I started “Recycle Blogger” I am planning on recording my progress as I proceed through my journey of recycling. Now don’t get me wrong I do intend to put other articles and news on this blog, but I wanted to do something that would keep me motivated, and also hopefully motivate others at the same time.
So why did I decide to “change my ways”? Well it’s fairly simple. One day as I was eating lunch at work, one of my co-workers told me about a movie, that movie we talked about was Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth.” Taking my co-workers advice, I went home and rented the movie and realized that this is actually a noble cause. At the same time another idea that I realized is that there are way too many things that I have seen that I am afraid that future generations might not. That is why I/we must do something to change.
So I guess today is as good of a day as ever… Right?
